Not all SPF ingredients are equal

At approximately 3 times the price of the equivalent SPF found in Titanium Dioxide, Benzyl Alcohol and Aluminium based sunscreens, Zinc Oxide is the premier ingredient for use in our products. 

Not only does Zinc oxide block both UVA and BVA rays more effectively, but it also benefits the skin by strengthening and is natures ultimate wound healer.

You will find approximately 12% non-nano Zinc Oxide in essentiel with our lab testing showing an SPF of over 30, you can be sure that your essentiel is sufficient cover for an entire day. This is not only due to the high quantities of zinc oxide but also because of our choice of oils such as Raspberry Seed which carry a natural SPF of between 10 and 40.

Colour Profile

The best thing about essentiel is that no colour matching is required. Our patent-pending unique colour profile means essentiel perfectly assimilates with all but the most porcelain skin types. Our careful use of natural Mineral Mica results in a perfect glowing colour neutral finish when applied to skin tones ranging from very deep tan to very light tan. Upon applying 2-3 serves of product and massaging into your visage you'll notice an enhancing glow with a subtle sparkle and supple matt finish. 

Concealer

Unlike a full mineral makeup routine, our concealer is subtle but powerful enough to remove rosacea and conceal redness from pimples, blushing, rashes, flushed skin, fine, medium and deep lines and other texture and tone inconsistencies such as hyperpigmentation, freckles and age spots.

Instant Air Brush Effect

Age lines are reduced within 10 minutes via the use of natural hyaluronic acid as well as the hydrating effects of the x2 Aloe Vera, lines are further concealed with the mineral makeup components and the result is a generous level of both therapeutic and cosmetic improvements that will last all day.

How to Apply and achieve 30+ SPF

Apply in the morning to clean dry skin.

Step 1: Depress pump once to supply initial coverage of the upper face, twice to do cheeks and nose, a 3rd serve can be applied to give further coverage with more concealer if desired.

Step 2: If a matt finish is desired, simply pat your visage lightly with hand, makeup pad or cloth to remove the outermost layer of oil. A matt finish will result which will last all day long.

Essentiel is all-natural and lacks the toxic silicones (cyclomethicone and dimethicone) found in other mineral makeups, these silicones help the product apply quicker, but they are not natural at all, we avoid using these for your longterm skin health and as a result, if a matt finish is desired you need to apply the quick and easy 2nd step mentioned.
